A Taste of Honey, October 1989
Snap Theatre Company present A Taste of Honey by Shelagh Delaney.
This fascinating off-beat comedy drama with memorable characters and sharply etched backgrounds is set in the late nineteen fifties at the end of post-war rationing when the average wage was £11 2s 6d, when housing was scarce, it was the time of the beginning of an era of new affluence – related to this affluence was the growing importance of teenagers.
