Kadoma Players with RIMUKA Performing Arts. Producer Howard Cottrell. Sponsored by Stevenage Community Trust,
B.A.S.H. is short for British-Africa Self Help programme. A group of actors, musicians , singers and dancers from KADOMA (Stevenage’s link town in Zimbabwe) bring B.A.S.H. as a multi-cultural production to celebrate the millennium. With the very apt contemporary theme of Development Aid, this play throws into sharp relief the differences between European and African perceptions – which will prevail and will the arrival of a Very Important Guest resolve the problem?
This is a play of biting sardonic humour interlaced with highly entertaining African music, song and dance and features performers from RIMULKA performing arts group making a very welcome and long anticipated return visit to Stevenage.
