Opera East presnts
Carmen by Bizet
Opera East’s production of CARMEN refines and concentrates the action, focusing on the fatal relationships between Carmen and Don Jose. Bizet’s CARMEN is probably the most popular opera of all time and this production captures the sultry heat of Spain, through its colourful costumes and evocative lighting. Sung in English with orchestral accompaniment – a production not to be missed. The producer is Michael Rennison, Lighting Director Brod Mason and the Conductor is Howard Burrell.
