Dial M for Murder, May 2005
Middle Ground Theatre Company present an all-star cast in this new version of Fredrick Knott’s classic 1950’s thriller, Dial M for Murder. Tony Wendice, (Steven Pinder, “Brookside”), is a retired tennis star who has quite unashamedly married Sheila, (Joy Brook, “The Bill” & “Peak Practice”), for her money.
When it seems likely that she is in love with Max, (Richard Grieve, “Home and Away” & “Neighbours”), Tony begins to plot her murder. He enlists the help of Captain Lesgate (Richard Walsh, “London’s Burning”) as a hired killer, who enters the flat whilst Tony establishes his own alibi.
But who is murdered? And who is guilty? And is there any such thing as “The perfect murder”?
