Jessica Tandy plays a spirited Jewish matron who employs a black chauffeur – Morgan Freeman. Set in Atlanta against the Social changes of the American South, the story charts the relationship between the couple over 25 years as the progress from caution to affection. This film won four Oscars including Best Film and Best Actress.
