Olga Roriz — principal dancer and choreographer of Portugal’s Gulbenkian Ballet and one of the most exciting of the new generation of European choreographers — makes her debut with the ENB when they present her work The Seven Silences of Salomeon the company’s very welcome return to Stevenage. The rest of tonight’s programme includes: Paul Taylor’s Aureole “joyous, fresh, clear and elegant” (Guardian); The Envelope “slick, witty and original” (The Times); and a Pas de Deux from either The Nutcracker, Don Quixote or Le Corsaire.
