Half a Sixpence, May 1989
The Lytton Players present –
Half A Sixpence
Based on the novel “Kipps” by H.G. Wells, this is the show which featured Tommy Steele and the famous song “Crash Bang Wallop”. A classic love story of boy meets girls, with the halving of a sixpence for a love token, it is set to delightful foot-tapping music. With Musical Director, Trevor Hughes and Roger Scales producing, this show will be a lively and colourful extravaganza – an evening not to be missed.
