Hancock, September 1976
Featured impressionist Mike Goddard in a one-act play. The production was first seen at the Hampstead Theatre Club earlier in the year, drawing unstinted praise from the critics.
The performance was preceded by a short sequence of folk songs from local favourite Ken Okines, setting the mood for Hancock’s sardonic humour.
Hancock’s best feature film, The Rebel, was shown a few days earlier in the Gordon Craig.
Tickets priced at 90p and £1.20.
