Outstanding British chamber ensemble performed a Beethoven recital.
The programme included Spring Sonata Op. 24 performed by violinist Ralph Holmes and pianist Anthony Goldstone, followed by the same pianist partnering cellist Moray Welsh in the G minor Cello Sonata, Op. 5 No. 2. In the second half of the performance, all three artists combined for one of the greatest of all piano trios, the Archduke.
