Jack Warner and Friends, September 1976
“The veteran star, now in his eighties, will be looking back to his younger days as a racing driver and variety star as well as his extraordinary record-breaking 20-year television success as P.C. (later Sgt.) Dixon of Dock Green. Recollections of some of his great radio and film appearances (Garrison Theatre, The Huggetts, The Blue Lamp, etc.) are interspersed with impressions of some of the stars with whom he has worked over the years. Leading the supporting company is another of television’s most familiar faces, the brilliant character actor and impressionist Larry Martyn. “
