My Fair Lady, March 1990
Hitchin Thespians present My Fair Lady
After the total sell-out of their Mikado last year, Hitchin Thespians return with a full-scale production of the Lerner & Loewe 1956 Broadway and West-End smash hit, MY FAIR LADY. Based on George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion, this comedy-musical sparkles with colourful scenery, lavish costumes, witty dialogue and some of the best known songs in the history of the theatre. Jim Snell directs and Roger Heath conducts. Entertainment for the whole family and definitely not to be missed.
