Orpheus is a violin teacher in a rural music academy more interested in his charming pupils than in his wife Eurydice. She in turn is lost to the charms of Aristaeus, in fact the God Pluto in disguise….! Travelling Opera’s productions aim to appeal to everyone – a thrilling introduction to those new to Opera and an exciting new departure for the more experienced. The show is in English and the company are accompanied by the Travelling Opera Orchestra.
