The London City Ballet, October 1980

The London City Ballet return to the Gordon Craig for three days. Peter Darrell’s exciting version of Othello, to music from Liszt’s Faust Symphony forms the centrepiece of their programme, which will also include Jack Carter’s Summer Days and Stagioni and Harold King’s magical Scott Joplin miniature, The Audition. Among the internationally acclaimed dancers taking part are Marian St.Clair, Patricia Rianne, Karen Smith, Donald Macleary, Michael Beare and Cristian Addams with full suporting company.
