An Evening of Gilbert and Sullivan from the New Savoyards. A welcome return to this company of professional singers who will delight you with a polished programme of lavishly costumed and narrated favourites from the Savoy Operas of Gilbert & Sullivan. On their fifth visit to Stevenage, the company will, as always, feature artists drawn from radio, cabaret, and the country’s leading operatic companies, including D’Oyley Carte, Kent Opera, New Sadler’s Wells and the English National Opera Company. Included in the programme will be selections from The Gondoliers, Pirates of Penzance, HMS Pinafore, and The Mikado.
