The Tempest, April 1997
Survivors of a shipwreck are all washed up on a mysterious island whose only inhabitants are the powerful magician Prospero and his daughter Miranda. One by one they are made to confront their deeds, misdeeds and indeed their very souls. A funny, moving mystical performance of Shakespeare’s last play by this refreshing company who only ever use five actors in what is probably the nearest modern equivalent to touring in Shakespeare’s own day.
