Two Stars for Comfort, March 1979
In a month seemingly dedicated to another muse, the one contribution to the art of Thespis is TWO STARS FOR COMFORT presented by the LYTTON PLAYERS and written by JOHN MORTIMER. Sam Turner, proprietor of the Riverside Hotel, is a hedonist. He believes too that his bar is a haven of illusion for his customers, where they can come to find a few hours happy escape from the oppressive reality of their lives. It has also been Sam’s practice each year to choose and crown the “Regatta Queen”, making the girl in question his mistress for the summer. This year, however, everything goes wrong!
The cast includes JEFF FAGG, PAUL JEFFREY, SYBIL GRAHAM and SUE KENNAUGH.
Direction is by FRED SWAINSON.
