From her humble East End childhood to glittering stardom UP IN THE GALLERY tells Marie Lloyd’s remarkable story, her stunning soar to fame as doyen of the Edwardian Music Halls, her stormy, sometimes outrageous, life behind the scenes, her loves and marriages, her laughter and her tears.
The show includes many of Marie’s best loved songs – The Boy I Love, My Old Man, Joshua and Dilly Dally.
ADRIENNE POSTA plays Marie Lloyd with Carry On star JACK DOUGLAS as the M.C. and JOHN ALTMAN from East Enders plays Alec Hurley, Marie’s second husband and true love.
